Flash

XML
Extensible Markup Language, developed by the W3C, is designed especially for web documents. It allows designers to create their own customized tags, enabling the definition, transmission, validation, and interpretation of data between applications and between organizations.

WAP
The Wireless Application Protocol is a secure specification that allows users to access information using wireless devices such as mobile phones, pagers, and smart phones. WAPs can use displays and access the Internet using micro-browsers--browsers with small file sizes that can accommodate the low memory of handheld devices and the low-bandwidth limitations of a wireless-handheld network. Although WAP supports HTML and XML, the WML language (an XML application) is specifically devised for small screens and one-hand navigation without a keyboard. WML is scalable from two-line text displays up through graphic screens found on items such as smart phones and communicators. WAP also supports WMLScript. It is similar to JavaScript, but makes less demand on memory and CPU power because it contains only essential functions.

ASP scripting
Scripting. ASP enables HTML authors and Web professionals to create powerful Web pages by simply adding in-line scripting to any HTML page. ASP supports any scripting language allowing server components. ASP uses ActiveX server components running on the local server (or on another server on the network) to access databases and applications, and to process information.
Browser support. Scripts and components included in ASP files are processed completely on the server. The page that's delivered to your client is pure, standard HTML and viewable by all browsers.
Customization. ASP provides easy access to all HTTP server variables, including browser type and referring page, so you can develop pages that are customized for each user.
